Every calculator includes references to its sources, whether that’s a college’s own points table or its published selection statement.
We tell you when we are guessing
Some colleges publish an actual point table. Most publish only selection statements and guidelines. We read every one and turn it into criteria that can be scored consistently, so your portfolio can be measured against them. If the weighting is ours rather than the college’s, we make that clear on the calculator.

Peer reviewed
Everything on our site is reviewed by specialists and doctors in training to help keep the information accurate and up to date. However, mistakes can happen, and selection rules can change, sometimes every year. If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, send us the source and we’ll review it and update the site where needed.
